Motorcycle Crash Leads to One Fatality on Highway 41

April 15, 2014- A motorcyclist was fatally wounded in a vehicle collision with a pickup truck on Highway 41, in Madera County.  The accident happened on Tuesday, a little before 4 PM, north of Oakhurst.

A 2005 Suzuki motorcycle, driven by Michael Baize Jr, 29 years old of Coarsegold, was traveling north on Highway 41, when the bike swerved left for an unknown reason.  The motorcycle crossed into the oncoming traffic's lane and crashed head-on with a Ford F-550 pickup truck that was headed south and pulling a tractor-trailer.

The driver of the pickup, from Madera, put on his brakes, but was not able to avoid hitting Baize.  The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike, and suffered major injuries.  He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, where he later died.

The Ford's driver and three passengers were not injured.

This accident requires much more investigation. Please let me help. Attorney John Rozier of Visalia, south of Fresno. I am located on Caldwell Ave.  www.nelsonrozier.com or call me at 559-713-0159.
