Highway 99 Big Rig Collision in Bakersfield, near Highway 166

August 20, 2014- A semi truck accident closed two lanes of northbound Highway 99, in Kern County, on Wednesday.  The big rig collision occurred in Bakersfield, at about 7 AM.

A tractor trailer loaded with grocery items was traveling north on Highway 99, north of State Route 166.  For an unknown reason the semi truck overturned and spilled its cargo onto the two right lanes of the freeway.

The eastbound connector ramp for Highway 166 to Highway 99 was closed for two hours for cleanup and investigation.

Issues still remaining to be investigated include determining the speed of the big rig, whether road conditions may have contributed to this accident, and whether the facts of this accident as reported are accurate.  If you would like these issues investigated further then please call Attorney John Rozier at 559-713-0159, or contact us online www.nelsonrozier.com.
