August 27, 2014- A big rig collision caused a power outage in northwest Bakersfield, on Wednesday.  The vehicle accident occurred on Rosedale Highway, in Kern County, at about 3:30 AM.

The early morning crash happened between a tanker truck and a car.  The impact caused the semi truck to run down an embankment and smash into a utility pole and high voltage power lines, at Rosedale Highway and Coffee Road.
