Big Rig Collision Shuts Down Traffic on Highway 99 near Chowchilla

Visalia Elderly Maltreatment Attorney John Rozier has the following report; On Wednesday, September 3, 2014, a big rig accident shut down Highway 99, in Madera County.  The semi truck collision occurred near Chowchilla, at approximately 5 AM.

The tractor-trailer was driving on northbound Highway 99, carrying 17,000 pounds of Sears products.  For an unexplained reason the big rig overturned onto the freeway, blocking both lanes, near Avenue 24 1/2.

The accident backed up traffic for about 4 hours while it could be investigated and cleaned up.
