Fiery Big Rig Collision on Highway 99 near Paname Lane

Visalia Nursing Home Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Sunday, September 14, 2014, a big rig crash closed all lanes on Highway 99 North, in Kern County.  The semi truck accident happened in Bakersfield, at about 11:38 PM.

A tractor-trailer was driving northbound on Highway 99, when it smashed into the back of another big rig, near Panama Lane.  The impact of the collision caused one of the semi trucks to lose control, crash into the shoulder, and spill its load of beer onto the freeway.

A fire was started by the incident, and all lanes of the northbound highway were closed.

Two people involved in the vehicle collision suffered minor injuries, and one was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Issues still remaining to be investigated include determining the speed of the big rig, if there was a malfunction in the tractor-trailer, and whether road conditions may have contributed to this accident.  If you would like these issues investigated further then please call Attorney John Rozier, your personal injury lawyer, at 559-713-0159  or reach us at www.nelsonrozier.com.
