North Fork Car Accident Leaves One Woman Injured

September 13, 2014- An automobile collision leaves female driver seriously hurt, in Madera County.  The car accident took place Saturday, in North Fork, at approximately 4:19 PM.

Cara Duke was driving a 2012 Mazda southbound on Road 274 north of Putney Place, when she lost control of the vehicle, steering it off the east side of the roadway.

The vehicle drove over a curb and off the roadway, then down a dirt embankment.  The Mazda then hit some large oak trees, head-on.

Duke suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.
