Pedestrian Killed in Semi Truck Accident on Highway 99 in Madera County

Visalia Nursing Home Attorney John Rozier has the following collision update; On Friday, September 12, 2014, a pedestrian was hit and killed on Highway 99.  The semi truck collision occurred in Madera County, near Chowchilla, before 6:30 AM.

Carlos Manuel Saldana, of Planada, was walking on the side of northbound Highway 99, at Avenue 23 1/2, when he was struck by a big rig north of Highway 152.

Saldana was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
