Tulare County Fatal Vehicle Collision on Avenue 24, near Earlimart

Visalia Elderly Maltreatment Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident update: On Tuesday, September 23, 2014, a vehicle collision in Tulare County killed two people.  The car accident happened southeast of Earlimart, at about 6:15 AM.

A 31 year old Strathmore man, and a 30 year old Porterville man, who was the passenger, were driving west on Avenue 24, in a 1995 Acura.  The Acura stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Avenue 24 and Road 160, north of Delano.

For an unknown reason the driver pulled out in front of a 1996 GMC pickup truck that had the right of way.  The truck, driven by Antonio Nunez, of McFarland, was traveling north on Road 160 at 55 mph.

Nunez tried to stop, but could not in time, and the vehicles collided.

Both the driver and passenger in the Acura suffered fatal injuries.
