Big Rig Accident on Highway 190 in Porterville

October 21, 2014- A semi truck crash on Highway 190 injures two, in Tulare County.  The car accident happened near Porterville, on Tuesday, at about 6:45 PM.

A tractor-trailer, driven by Sidhu Singh, of Elk Grove, was eastbound on Highway 190.  The big rig attempted to turn left onto Road 284.  A 2005 Lexus, driven by Marcos Carranza, that was traveling west on the highway collided with the semi truck as it turned across the roadway.

Jose Ortiz, and Raul Mendoza, both passengers in the Lexus, were injured in the collision.  Ortiz was taken to Sierra View Medical Center.  Mendoza was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical, in Visalia.  Carranza was also hurt, but did not require hospital treatment.

Singh was reported to be uninjured.

Issues still remaining to be investigated include determining the speed of the big rig, whether road conditions may have contributed to this accident, and whether the facts of this accident as reported are accurate.  If you would like these issues investigated further then please call Attorney John Rozier at 559-713-0159, or contact online at www.nelsonrozier.com.  My office is located in Tulare County, in Visalia, California.
