Fresno County Pedestrian Killed After Car Collision on Highway 180

October 1, 2014- A pedestrian accident, leaves one woman dead, in Fresno County.  The car collision happened on Highway 180, near Armstrong, on Wednesday night.

A woman, who was reported to have been wearing dark clothing, was walking along Freeway 180.  She was hit by a vehicle that was coming around a curve in the highway.  The driver said he tried to avoid her, but was unable to swerve out of the way.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
