Madera County Pickup Truck Collision on South Highway 41

August 12, 2014- A pickup truck accident ends in fatality, in Madera County.  The vehicle collision happened on Tuesday, on Highway 41.

Edgar Farias, 27 years old, was driving  a 2002 Dodge pickup truck south on Highway 41.  It is reported he was traveling at speeds of nearly 100 miles per hour, passing other cars in the process.

The truck veered off the roadway and collided several times with the rock embankment at the side of the freeway.  The Dodge became airborne and overturned.  The driver was ejected from the truck.

Farias was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
