Multi-Vehicle Big Rig Collision on Highway 65 in Porterville

Tulare County Personal Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident update; On Thursday, October 23, 2014, a big rig collision took place in Porterville.  The semi truck crash left one in serious condition and one fatally wounded.

Jose Barron was driving his vehicle on Highway 65, south of Scranton Avenue, when he failed to slow down for traffic that was backed-up.  His car smashed into the back of a Lexus, driven by Gregorio Salas, 41 years old.

The impact of the collision pushed the Lexus into a passing tractor-trailer.

Gregorio Salas was pronounced dead at the scene.  His passenger, a 13 year old, suffered major injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Fresno.

Barron and the driver of the big rig sustained minor injuries.
