The Visalia Police reported that the female pedestrian was walking eastbound across Ben Maddox Way, near Douglas Avenue, when a silver Subaru hit her.
The Subaru was driven by, Henry Michalk, of Washington. He was driving his vehicle northbound at the time of the collision.
The victim suffered major head injuries and died at the scene of the crash.
