Bicyclist Killed in Auto Collision on Friant Road in Fresno

February 19, 2015- a bicyclist was killed in an automobile collision in Fresno.  The car accident happened on Friant Road, on Thursday, at about 6 PM.

A 16 year old driver was traveling in a 2011 Mercedes, southbound on Friant Road.  The car was going at about 60-70 miles per hour down the roadway.

Nick Bukilica, 52 years old, was riding his bike north on Friant Rd.  He was about to turn left onto Old Friant Road, when he was hit by the Mercedes.

The CHP reported that there wasn't a lot of lighting at the time of the crash.  The auto driver did not see the biker, when he was struck on the right side of the bicycle.

Bukilica was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police report may take several weeks to prepare—in the meantime we can probably obtain a cover sheet of the accident report for the family of the deceased.  Our condolences go out to the families in the accident.  Please let us help you.  Attorney John Rozier, 559-713-0159 or contact online at www.nelsonrozier.com.
