Pixley Car Collision Kills Earlimart Man, at Wright Avenue, Caused by Missing Stop Sign

Central California Automobile Injury and Wrongful Death Attorney John L. Rozier has the following report; On Tuesday, April 14, 2015, a 54-56 year old Earlimart man was killed in a car collision.  The Tulare County vehicle accident took place east of Pixley, at a rural intersection, at about 11:51 AM.

The Earlimart driver was westbound on Wright Avenue in a 2001 Chevrolet.  At the intersection of Wright Ave. and Elm Street, there is supposed to be stop sign for traffic traveling on Wright.  Authorities reported that the stop sign was missing on the east side of the intersection.

The Chevy driver failed to stop at the intersection, because of the missing sign, and was broadsided by a 2011 GMC pickup truck, driven by Juan Lopez, 24 years old.  Lopez had been traveling north on Elm at the time of the incident, and did have the right-of-way.

The man died at the scene of the accident.  Lopez sustained minor injuries.

Please call Mr. Rozier to begin a claim arising from this accident.  We are located just 30 miles away in Visalia.  We need to investigate available insurances, assets, and roadway defects.  Our condolences go out to the victim's family. 559-713-0159www.nelsonrozier.com
