Several Hurt, and One Killed in Truck Collision on Highway 65, in Lindsay

On Monday, April 20, 2015, an automobile collision ended in fatality for one driver and left several others injured, in Tulare County.  The pickup truck accident took place in Lindsay, on Highway 65, near Fresno Street, at around 5:06 AM.

Alejandro Ibarra, 25 years old, was driving a full-sized pickup truck south on Highway 65.  Ibarra veered into the northbound lane of the highway, and sideswiped a minivan carrying six people.  The pickup then smashed head-on into another smaller truck, driven by a 19 year old man.

Ibarra suffered serious injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia, where he was pronounced dead.  The driver of the small pickup was taken, by helicopter, to Kaweah Delta with major injuries.  He is listed as being in stable condition.

The victims in the minivan all received injuries ranging from minor to major.  They were also taken to the hospital in Visalia.
