Tulare County Car Accident Ends in Fatality, After Vehicle Hit From Behind in Visalia

Visalia Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the following collision report; On Tuesday, April 14, 2015, a fatal car crash took place in Tulare County.  The automobile accident happened on McAuliff Street, in Visalia, at around 3:30 in the morning.

Jose De Jesus Sanchez, 65, was driving, a black, 1999 Hyundai Accent southbound on McAuliff St., across the St. John's River bridge.  A black, Honda Accord, driven by Michael Coffman, 22, was also traveling south across the bridge at a higher rate of speed.

The Accord smashed into the back of the Hyundai and the impact caused both vehicles to come to rest in front of Golden West High School, south of the bridge.

Sanchez suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Coffman and a passenger in the Honda, sustained some injuries but did not want medical treatment.
