Four Teens Injured in Fresno County Car Accident, on Highway 168

June 28, 2015- A rollover car accident leaves four teenagers injured, in Fresno County.  The vehicle collision happened on Highway 168, in Auberry, at about 1:00 PM.

Four occupants, ages 17 and 18, were in a grey VW automobile, traveling westbound on Highway 168, near Prather.  It is reported that the Volkswagen was driving at a high rate of speed around a curve, and lost control.

The car swerved into the eastbound lane after the driver over-corrected.  The VW hit a Honda Civic, and then went off the highway, through a fence, and overturned multiple times into a ravine.  They were pinned inside the vehicle, after the crash.

The four victims in the Volkswagen all suffered injuries, with three of the four people in serious condition.  One person was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  The other three were taken by ambulance to CRMC, and Saint Agnes Medical Center.

The two people that were in the Honda were not hurt.
